After sending over yesterday's addendums, we are finally in escrow! Of course, now the waiting begins. As soon as the electric and water meters are replaced we can order the appraisal, home inspection, termite inspection, septic inspection and get quotes for the new heating and air system. Plus we need to check our options for garbage pick up. I think that's a private company that the town/county does not pay for. We're in the country now! Oh, yeah, which companies provide phone, TV and internet up here? Guess we'll find out! :-)
Now is a good time to show you more pictures, I think.
This was taken in bedroom #1 downstairs. Directly under bedroom #1 upstairs, this room is approximately 10.5' x 15'.
The other side of the bedroom. These windows are dual pane. The door on the left is an extra - just leaning against the wall. Not sure where it belongs.
This is the kitchen/livingroom in the basement. Put together with a mix of materials, the kitchen is functional (or will be when it has a fridge) but could be improved upon. Some of the materials from the Sunset Room kitchen will most likely end up here. We'll see how it goes - just like everything else!
The basement livingroom. These windows are also dual pane. The door on the left goes outside. This room is directly under bedroom #2 upstairs, so measures approximately 18' x 11'.
This is a little cubby under the stairs.
Unfortunately , I can't find any more pictures of the basement on my computer. Tomorrow I will check my husband's computer and see what I can find. If there aren't enough there, it might be time to take a run up the hill again! I was there briefly today, but didn't realize I needed more pictures. Silly me!
Day Eleven
Looking at the pictures of the downstairs kitchen, what is the white box looking thing on the left side of the picture?

That is the backside of some more cupboards.
ReplyDeleteIn the bedroom #1 downstairs picture of the wall there appears to be a small self along the bottom of the wall. I noticed the window air conditioner is plugged into this area. Why is this sticking out from the rest of the wall? Are the walls painted with stripes?
