Waiting.

Lots of waiting, but in the meantime we're putting out time to good use. This morning we went back to the house for more measuring and planning. And more pictures, of course!

Just stepping off the last step into the basement apartment, we enter an entry room (?) that measures approximately 7'2" square. Directly ahead is bedroom #2.

As we step inside the bedroom.

Don't ya just love the random pipe sticking out of the corner?

This door and window on the left, in the back of the room. The door leads to...

...the "lovely MDF" room (taken through the glass).

Here's a nice breaker box on the right side of bedroom #2 as you walk through the door. We forgot to measure this room, but it must be about 12' x 8'. Oh, yeah, this is the room with the funny 'closet' that opens up to an electrical outlet and another door - which leads to plumbing and wiring. Remember that photo?

This is a shot in the dark (literally) of the under the stairs cubby.

A picture of the electrical boxes in the unfinished basement room. The smaller 6 boxes on the right are some sort of doorbell system, we're told.

Back in the kitchen, Dad, you asked about the white boxes in a previous picture. Here is the front view. This little kitchen is a great mix & match. Whatever the owner had on hand, apparently. Who can blame him? It is the 3rd kitchen in the house, after all!

I opened the outside door of the basement and caught a view of the window in bedroom #1. I won't show you a picture of straight ahead since you would see the neighbor's porch. There are also a couple of items someone left behind - not sure if they would be our responsibility or the neighbor's, but I figured you didn't need to see that.  ;-)

I then went out the door and turned back...

To the left of the previous picture, you can see the livingroom windows.

The end of the house (septic is here, somewhere) and down the hill.

Turn the corner and the livingroom windows are on the right, with the upstairs bedroom #2 windows above. Straight ahead, an odd window and (2 steps up to a) door that lead to the underside of the house and deck. Most of the 'underneath' photos are taken from somewhere on the other side of that door. Above the window and door you can see a master bedroom window and the deck off the master.

Back inside, we head up the stairs.

More tomorrow. I know, I know. You want to see it all. We have to pace ourselves, though. It could be a long wait for the county and the bank to get things together enough for us to close this deal!
